On 16 July 2013 the National Oceanography Centre, Southampton (NOC) will be hosting the next in its series of Marine Manufacturer’s ‘Breakfast Club’ meetings.
At this Breakfast Club meeting the NOC will be showcasing the Long Endurance Unmanned Surface Vehicles project that it has jointly funded with the Small Business Research Initiative (SBRI) and Dstl as well as discussing potential future SBRI projects that the centre is looking to pursue. The morning will include presentations from MOST (AV) Ltd and ASV Ltd who will give an overview of the vehicles that they have in development under this programme as well as information from the Technology Strategy Board on how the SBRI works. This is an opportunity for you the manufacturer to find out more about this funding initiative and how you might become involved in future projects.
Breakfast will be served from 0830 with the presentations beginning at approximately 0915. The room is available before and after the presentations for free format networking giving an opportunity for industry to meet and network with NOC staff and take part in opportunistic discussions, while enjoying a breakfast bap, coffee and a Danish.
