The National Oceanography Centre has a range of laboratories, workshops and testing facilities available to the marine science community and external organisations.

Laboratories

State-of-the-art facilities including Molecular Biology Facility, Calibration Laboratory and Rock Physics Laboratory.
Workshops

State-of-the-art workshop facilities including - Optics Workshop, Sensors Workshop, Glider Workshop. Large Vehicle Workshop and hangar Workshop.
Testing Facilities

State-of-the-art testing facilities including pressure vessels and environmental chambers enable the testing of all types of marine autonomous vehicles.
