My research explores the application of machine learning to improve our understanding and representation of zooplankton diversity in biogeochemical models as well as various aspects of oceanography. As a numerical ecologist, I am particularly interested in plankton ecology and distribution. My work primarily involves developing and using computational approaches, including multivariate statistics, machine learning, and deep learning, to analyze large oceanic datasets.
