Daniel Woods

Daniel is a mechanical engineer with experience of working on over a dozen offshore rigs as a field engineer for Schlumberger. His commercial experience has been both as a buyer for a bespoke engineering firm and business development executive in the aviation industry prior to joining NOC in 2021. At NOC he looks after strategic commercialisation of NOCs engineering output. Specifically within the MARS (Marine Autonomous Robotics Systems) division he has set up the NOC Glider Service Centre, completed a licensing deal for the IP behind one of our AUV programmes and sold 2 ALRs to a research institute in Madeira.
