Alice Kloker joined the partnerships team at the National Oceanography Centre in January 2022 as Stakeholder Engagement Manager. Her remit includes liaising with government, non-governmental, industry and sector-specific actors across the marine science community, creating public benefit from NOC's capabilities in service of the National and Public Good, and supporting efforts to improve ocean literacy. Alice is also the Secretary for the Marine Science Co-Ordination Committee. She came to NOC after a 19 year career in the field of international higher education working with transnational education, exchange and study abroad partnerships at universities in both the United States and the United Kingdom. Alice received her MA from the University of Minnesota in political science, with a focus on international relations, comparative politics and human rights. She is a keen outdoor swimmer and can be found most weekends in the Solent or near one of Hampshire's beautiful chalk streams.
