** At the present time it seems that new rules mean that, following Brexit, most GSNOCS projects (all the INSPIRE-funded ones) will be open to everyone, regardless of nationality. However, INSPIRE will only be able to offer full (100%) funding to UK applicants. Partial funding (about 50%) will be available to other (including EU) applicants. These new rules will apply this year, to the INSPIRE projects currently advertised. For more details, please see the Funding section of the How to Apply page.
It should be noted that we encourage strong applicants who have been able to obtain their own funding (for instance from a national scholarship or a company) to contact the supervisor of a project they are interested in. You can contact them at any time, regardless of national eligibility for the project. If you are ineligible for the project as advertised but have your own funding, then you may still be able to do research in this area.
