Earlier this year, the National Oceanography Centre (NOC) announced a new partnership with environmental consultancy Beyondly (formerly Comply Direct) to further ocean research in the UK.

We are partnered with Beyondly as a chosen charity for their new Customer Impact Rewards initiative. Beyondly is a B Corp environmental consultancy and compliance scheme, who share their knowledge to help businesses become more confident about their environmental choices; from compliance obligations, contributing to a circular economy and going beyond net zero.

In alignment with their vision, Beyondly chose to work with NOC to support their customers in achieving positive environmental and social impacts. Throughout the year, Beyondly customers have earned tokens for various actions, equivalent to £1, that they have then been able to donate to one of the charities of choice that most align with their own purpose and vision.

Through this incredible initiative Beyondly members have raised over £10,000 for NOC.

Holly Evans, Head of Strategic Partnerships at NOC said: “We are over the moon to be a chosen charity for Beyondly’s customer loyalty programme and are amazed by the donations made by their customers as part of this new initiative.”

“We look forward to sharing updates with Beyondly members over the course of the year to demonstrate the impact this donation has had. Finally, we would like to thank Beyondly and their customers for choosing to support the National Oceanography Centre”.

Thanks to the support of Ocean Alliance partners like Beyondly we are advancing our understanding of the problems facing our ocean and our climate, and the solutions needed for a sustainable future.
