We can all play our part in helping our ocean thrive
It can sometimes feel as if the ocean is too vast to investigate, and resolutions to the challenges it faces beyond our reach. This might be true if we look to tackle problems alone. But, by coming together and working as one, we can discover solutions to restore our oceans’ health.
To achieve a safe and sustainable ocean, collectively we need to be:
Educating the next generation of ocean leaders
Analysing climate change and sea level rise to protect people and discover solutions
Finding new ways to conserve ocean life, including endangered species and coral reefs
Understanding sources of ocean pollution and providing evidence to decision makers
Developing innovative robotics and technologies to accelerate research
Please join us today in protecting our ocean, our planet and our future.
The ocean is the largest, most connected and vital ecosystem on earth. It sustains all life. Yet today, ocean conservation receives less than 1% of global charitable giving.
By working together we can generate the global ocean science needed to support a sustainable ocean economy. The actions we take will determine the future of our blue planet and our civilisation.
The problems surrounding our ocean and waters are too big to tackle alone, so we must come together to drive forward this agenda and support this mission for the future of our planet.
