The MOCCA project aims to deploy 150 EU-funded core Argo floats around the globe to increase the overall European contribution to the international Argo array of profiling floats.

BODC handles half of the near real-time processing for these floats, making the data freely available within 24 hours of data collection, and handles a quarter of the delayed-mode quality control to ensure the data is ready for for climate-grade research.
