Dr Erik Simon Lledó is a marine biologist specialised in the study of ecological patterns and the effect of anthropogenic disturbance in deep-sea benthic systems. Erik's research has focused in the application of novel AUV sampling methodologies, i.e. habitat mapping, to the study of abyssal polymetallic nodule field habitats, in the context of deep-sea mining.
