Dr Erik Simon Lledó is a deep-sea ecologist specialised in the study of biodiversity patterns and the effect of anthropogenic disturbance in deep seafloor systems. Erik's research has focused in the application of novel ROV and AUV sampling methodologies, image-analysis, and habitat mapping to study the resilience of abyssal seascape ecosystems, particularly in the context of deep-sea mining.
