Georgios is a Delivery Lead and Senior Robotics Researcher specialising in marine robotic autonomy, with expertise in robot navigation and decision-making. His work focuses on long-range AUV/glider navigation in complex GPS-denied environments (e.g., the Arctic and Antarctic), networked robot operations, and adaptive mission planning, while exploring emerging technologies such as quantum sensing to advance robot autonomy. He has contributed as both PI and Co-I in multiple R&D projects within Horizon Europe and national initiatives.
