I utilise molecular tools and environmental DNA to explore the Ocean, with a particular emphasis on plankton communities. My research interests span the broad field of marine ecology, with a recent focus on marine microbiology and Omic technologies. I am also deeply passionate about long-read sequencing and bioinformatics, employing these advanced techniques to uncover the genetic diversity and functional dynamics of marine ecosystems
