Dr Alexandra Loveridge

I am a research scientist in socio-oceanography taking a whole systems approach to marine research inclusive of social science in areas such as the blue economy, fisheries, and climate adaptation in coastal states. I have experience collating and handling large volumes of ecological and socio-economic datasets including development and social resilience datasets as part of interdisciplinary projects examining the vulnerability of marine ecosystem services to climate change and human disruption. I also have experience mapping and analysing high resolution maritime and terrestrial human mobility data.  

I am passionate about data visualisation and graphic design to communicate effectively with different audiences, from science to policy and non-specialist audiences
