I am a research scientist in the Marine Systems Modelling group, National Oceanography Centre, Southampton, with 20 years’ experience running ocean and coupled climate models on a range of platforms, analysing model output and making comparisons with observations. I have extensive experience working on collaborative projects involving several institutes.

Key research interests:

  • Understanding the climate system
  • Improving understanding of errors and uncertainty in ocean and coupled climate modelling
  • High-resolution and nested ocean model configurations
