Robot fleet heads to the Science Museum in London

NOC’s robot fleet

During half term, 28–30 October, some of the fleet of robots currently exploring the ocean off the coast of the Isles of Scilly will be on display at the Science Museum in London.

Running from the 28–30 October, The Antenna Live: Sea Drones three day event gives the public the chance to see first hand the vehicles sending back live data, despite 70mph winds and 20ft waves. Some of the team behind these incredible vehicles will be on hand to talk about how they were developed, what research they are carrying out and why, and what will happen to the vehicles on the next leg of the research.

The event also allows our team to talk to children and other interested parties about careers in engineering, science and technology. Entry is free, with the exhibition running daily from 11 – 4pm.
