Novel sensing systems for the monitoring of marine environment will be introduced. High resolution 3D image can be created by optical camera array or sonar system. The systems are used for a wide range of surveys (e.g. vegetation, benthic animal distribution, fish classification, and coral coverage). The data is informatic and useful in the biological and ecological studies. In the seminar, I will share some results in case studies with you and want to discuss about the future sensing system for the marine monitoring
