I am a researcher in the Multidisciplinary team within the Ocean Technology and Engineering group at NOCS. My research interests include the design and development of environmental sensors, biotechnology, and microbial genetics.

Past projects include:

• The development of fouling-resistant sensors for drinking water systems
• Validation of analytical techniques for bacterial by-products in wastewater
• Elucidation of the role of newly identified transcriptional regulators in bacteria from respiratory infections
• Determination of the 3D structure of bacterial protein complexes involved in medical biotechnology
• Analysis of the interaction between viral proteins implicated in cervical cancer
