Dr Nathan Briggs
I study ocean biogeochemistry, especially the biological carbon pump, using optical measurements and autonomous platforms. I also have interests in particle size, marine primary productivity, and marine optics. I am currently working under Dr. Stephanie Henson's GOCART project to study biochemistry, particle fluxes, and their connection to physical processes using autonomous glider measurements in the Southern Ocean and the Southeast Atlantic. This work is in collaboration with the COMICS program.
