The range and scale of challenges in marine science are so large that no one institution or country can work alone. Consequently, marine science requires partnership to be effective. We work in partnership with researchers in the UK and internationally and with the users of our science in government, business and industry.

NOC is a key source of expert marine scientific advice and guidance for policymakers.
